Cupcake Proposal

A short while ago, we had the most wonderful event take place in our bakery!  A young gentleman came in to ask us to assist him in creating cupcakes so he could propose to his girlfriend of 2 years.  He was visibly nervous, but excited and we gave him some suggestions on how to make this occasion memborable and a complete surprise.

He wanted to nestle the wording in some standard cupcakes, and mentioned that her favorite colors were brown & blue.  So we took some of our standard cupcakes and created some new ones to help him pop the question.  Sure enough, they arrived right on time, she opened the box, read the cupcakes and he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Best of all ~ she said YES!

Congratulations guys!  And thanks for allowing us to share in this moment with you!!!

Getting Ready for Prom Time

Today, we had a young gentlemen come in and ask us to create a special cupcake for him to present to ask for a date to the prom.  How cute is that?

We love special requests here at Nostalgia Cupcakes, and as our customers know, we will do as much as we can to accomodate any them as much as possible, so we were more than thrilled to decorate an extra special cupcake for his request.

So, young sir, if you are out there and you read this, let us know how it went!  We love sucess stories :)

Now we just need our first wedding proposal story!

Annapolis Visitor's Center Event

As Della had mentioned, we've been busy little sugar freaks!  We were proud to be asked to supply cupcakes to the local Visitors Center Appreciation Event back in March.  We have been getting nothing but positive feedback from the volunteers who sampled our products and come in and tell us about it afterwards.  Thanks for all the love, Annapolis!
